Social Responsibility

Ever since Karl Andersson founded our company, we have worked for human values and watchful of people in our world. Our employees come from diverse backgrounds and often stay for several decades in our factory of quality furniture and design furniture. We are working on aid projects and support a variety of organisations that make a difference in our world. One can say that we have dedicated ourselves to CSR hundred years before the term even existed.

Social responsibility is based on that everyone has a responsibility to create a well-functioning society. Karl Andersson & Söner has always taken a great social responsibility and promoting diversity among employees. Ever since Karl Andersson's days we have tried to make the world a slightly better place. With many aid projects in Asia, Africa and South America, we have learned what it takes to get socially engaged in other cultures.

The Swedish organisation Ankarstiftelsen runs the project "Three little houses" in Colombia with the aim to transform the lives of vulnerable people. We also support Team Rynkeby that every year cycles to Paris for Barncancerfonden in the benefit of the Children's Cancer. Students from Träcenter in Nässjö and the Fenixgymnasiet in Vaggeryd get annual training at our factory in Huskvarna for guidance into the furniture industry.

We continue constantly to support projects and commitment that is very dear to our hearts. A human support to us related persons and organisations as obvious today as during our previous three generations. If you smile, the world smiles with you.
